British Diving Champs - Leeds, June 2011

Grace competed at the British Diving Championships in Leeds last weekend in the 1m Springboard and 3m Synchro events.

All of Grace's dives were consistent and perfectly executed, securing her 6th place in the 1m Springboard event, a solid performance given the strength of the field competing.

She later secured a Bronze medal in the 3m Synchro event where she faced another challenge of being paired with a new girl as her normal partner, Hannah Starling, was ill. This position is a huge testament to Grace's adaptability in a closely fought competition.

Grace finished 5th place in her preferred event of the 3m Springboard and accumulated a great score for her age group, qualifying for the Junior Europeans which will take place from 29th June to 3rd July in Belgrade.

This has been an excellent performance given Grace's busy schedule over the last few weeks. In her own words, her game plan is 'just to relax and enjoy competing'. This is obviously paying off!
