King Edward Bay Junior Golf Championships

The King Edward Bay Junior Golf Championships were held recently on a very soggy and fog‑shrouded King Edward Bay course. Although the poor weather meant the event had to be shortened to a selection of par‑three holes, the challenging conditions did nothing to dampen the spirits of the young golfers. All participants turned out looking smart in their club polos and gilets, proudly sponsored by TMI.

Following the prize presentation in the clubhouse, the children enjoyed a well‑deserved celebratory dinner in Douglas, ending a fantastic year of development.

The recent championship marked the culmination of 16 weeks of coaching with the club professional. Over the programme, the juniors worked hard to develop their putting, short game, and driving skills, while also building confidence in their on‑course etiquette.
