TMI are crowned DFM of the Year

Thomas Miller Investment (TMI), a member of the 129 year old Thomas Miller Group of companies, are pleased to announce that they have been awarded ‘Best Discretionary Fund Manager’ at the illustrious Professional Adviser Awards 2015.

The awards, which began in 2003, aim to recognise and reward excellence across the financial services industry. The ‘Best DFM’ award, which saw TMI shortlisted in its inaugural year in 2014, reflects the increasing trend amongst professional advisers to outsource investment management services on behalf of their clients.

The winners were chosen by a panel of investment experts after shortlists were compiled following  analysis of the portfolio performance data, supplied by Financial Express.  The ‘Best DFM’ category saw TMI competing with a broad selection of large, well-established UK investment management companies.

Head of Intermediary Development, Matt Lonsdale, who accepted the award on behalf of TMI said:

“At Thomas Miller Investment we believe there are two characteristics that really make us stand out. The first is creating bespoke solutions to meet our clients objectives, and the second is offering excellent personal service. To have won this award is a great testament to the service we offer and the performance we are achieving for our clients."

“This award coincides with Thomas Miller Investment Ltd receiving the coveted ‘5 Star Rating’ for its Bespoke DFM service from the financial research and software company Defaqto. This rating is awarded following an in depth quantitative and qualitative review of the portfolio management process. It indicates that our investment proposition represents one of the highest quality offerings in the on and offshore markets.”
