Career Summary

Kevin joined Thomas Miller Investment (Isle of Man) Limited in January 2019 as a Senior Portfolio Manager.  He began his Investment career in 2000 as an assistant Portfolio manager at a local firm before moving to a prolific Hedge Fund Manager with offices on the Isle of Man and in London.  During his 7 years there, he managed investments of over $500m while also responsible for portfolio risk management, with peak AUM of around $2bn.   He then spent the following years gaining experience with our local regulator, the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority, supervising investment businesses and working with a number of start-up businesses. 

Kevin has extensive experience in managing equities, fixed income and credit, closed-ended funds, financial derivatives and OTC products dealing with most major global financial institutions and research houses. He has developed screening and valuation systems to identify and monitor investments across financial markets and has practical experience in risk management, designing and implementing systems to monitor and forecast financial risks and in managing portfolio risk through the use of financial derivatives.

His responsibilities at TMI include chairing the Direct Equity Committee. He is also a member of the Investment Strategy Committee, Fixed Income Committee, Active Collectives Committee and Alternatives Committee.
