Amazing Grace ..... Junior Elites in Leeds
05/06/2010Grace recently returned from the Junior Elites competition in Leeds. This was a five day competition and Grace came 3rd in her preliminary dive and 2nd in the final. Grace was a little disappointed with her performance and felt she was not her usual form. However, in true Grace style and despite her disappointment, she turned it round for the 1m the next day and finished first in both the preliminary and final making her Junior European score!
The team for the Europeans is to be announced.
Prior to the Junior Elites, Grace was in Amsterdam for the Dutch Open where she trained extremely hard and secured first place in the 1m dive.
Grace leaves for Germany on the 15th June to compete in the International ESB Youth Diving Meet. There will be divers from as far a field as China so another great experience of an international competition for Grace to look forward to.
