Amazing Grace ..... Summary of British Champs
01/07/2010Grace has just returned from the Senior Nationals in Sheffield. What an event! The first day Grace competed in the 1m with three good dives taking her through to the final where she achieved a personal best and 5th place with a steady score.
The second day followed with the Synchro event and some excellent scores given for the team dives and synchro resulting in a competition win and another personal best!
Grace’s 3m preliminary went well and with the final over, the results were in ....
Grace achieved 2nd in the Women’s 3m final and 1st in the Junior Competition (out of all the under 18’s in Britain).
This is an excellent result for Grace and along with a medal presentation; she was awarded a very large (and heavy) trophy – much deserved!
This week Grace is preparing for the Junior Europeans in Helsinki where she will compete in the 3m Synchro with Hannah Stirling and the Individual 1m.
